if any student shows a grade of zero on their constitution convention quiz the error has been fixed, their grade will not be negatively effected by that score. If you have any issues with the quizzes on Discovery Education please don't worry, I am happy to reset the quiz so your student can take it again. This week we will meet with our homeroom groups to go over school expectations and all the GREEN stuff.
Greetings to all,
I hope you have had a great track out and ready for an exciting year ahead. We will start the year with a light review of geography, move to a short overview of NC and before the first unit is over we will be all about American history. This is my favorite course to teach and have done so for 14 of my 17 years in teaching - my hope is that you will love it just as much.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, you will get lockers, syllabus info, course info and team expectations on day 1. Please be patient with this site as I transition away from 7th grade content to 8th grade content. As last year, the linked websites have been checked to make sure everything is appropriate for our curriculum, but you know how things on the internet in today's world can be - look one way today, completely different tomorrow. So with that said, please double check everything before you use your home computer to view videos, websites, etc... as I will do the same prior to class use. Also want to remind everyone that I do not check my email when I am not at school. If you contact me please allow for a reply within 48 hours (but most times its the same day).
I can't wait for our year ahead and so very excited to see you all again.
